There is a non-refundable donation of $400.00 to adopt a Rescued Mastiff. In some cases there is also a $50.00 refundable training deposit due at the time of adoption. This deposit will be refunded upon proof of completion of one formal obedience class.
Adoption donations for Senior or Special Needs Mastiffs will be determined on a case by case basis.

What is the $400 adoption fee for? We are all volunteers in this organization. We do not receive a paycheck for our time and the service we provide. We do this for the love of the breed and in hopes of finding that forever home for our fosters. We do not receive reimbursement for the cost of dog food.

More often than not the dogs that we are able to bring in to rescue are in need of vetting. As soon as the dog comes in to rescue we take the dog for a check up. The check up includes microchipping, a fecal test, heartworm tested and is placed on heartworm preventative, vaccinations and any needed medications. If the dog is not spayed or neutered that is also done prior to adoption. Spay and neuter costs are based on the weight of a dog. The more the weight the more expensive the procedure. Costs increase if the dog is heartworm positive or is diagnosed with other medical issues. Although we have been fortunate with many veterinarian clinics providing their services at a discount the cost is still high.
